What is Sugar Sugar Rune about?
Chocolat Meilleure is a happy-going and optimistic girl. Together with her friend-cum-rival, Vanilla Mieux, they are potential candidates to become Queen of the magic world. After obtaining their magic wands, they set off to the human world to gather the hearts of unsuspecting humans. Whoever gets the most hearts will be the crowned Queen.

Chocolat purifies Pierre, and in the process, switches hearts with him. He turns good. After Chocola defeated Pierre, Vanilla wins, but she refuses to take the crown. Then Pierre and Chocolat get married in the Magical World, making Chocolat the first queen of the Magical and Ogre worlds. Pierre now doesn't collect noir, he collects pink and orange hearts.
