Waar gaat Dutch Hope over?
Fokke Augustinus, forensisch psychiater met een disfunctioneel gezin, staat op een kruispunt in zijn leven. Als hij het boerenbedrijf van zijn vader erft, verhuist hij met zijn vrouw en kinderen naar het Groningse platteland. Daar blijkt het boerenbedrijf een front voor een criminele organisatie en langzaam rolt Fokke in een carrière als drugshandelaar. Zijn kennis van het criminele brein gecombineerd met een afbrokkelende ethisch besef, brengt hem meer succes dan hij aan kan.
