Sobre o que é At the Gate of the Ghost?
O jovem monge budista Arnont (Mario Maurer) tem dúvidas sobre sua fé desde que testemunhou o conhecido gângster Singh Kam (Dom Hetrakul) decapitado por um crime que ele pode não ter cometido. Diz-se que ele matou o rico senhor da guerra Larh-Fah (Ananda Everingham) por inveja e ciúme. Muitos também assumem que Kam estava tendo um caso com a esposa de Larh-Fah, Kham-Kaew (Cherrn Boonyasak). Arnont é citado como testemunha na audiência. E ele não é o único: um fazendeiro (Petchtai Wongkamlao) e um mendigo (Pongpat Wachirabunjong) também viram o crime com seus próprios olhos. Durante uma tempestade, os três se abrigam em uma caverna e contam uns aos outros como testemunharam o assassinato.
